JACOB BARNEY

FNP-C

Jake has been a proud resident of Southeast Idaho since 2000. Growing up in Blackfoot, Idaho, he developed a deep connection to the community and the natural beauty of the region, spending his formative years fishing along the Snake River and working the local grain and potato harvests. Jake is happily married with five children, and in his free time, he enjoys outdoor activities such as skiing, hunting, fishing, dirt biking, and camping.

Jake earned his Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Cincinnati in 2017 and is certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner through the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP). His journey in healthcare began at Idaho State University, where he completed his Bachelor of Science in Nursing.

As a versatile provider, Jake is skilled in a wide range of services, including wellness exams, sports and DOT physicals, minor procedures, women’s health screenings, arthritis treatments, and managing chronic conditions such as diabetes and hypertension. He has even been known to preform magic tricks for children. His broad expertise allows him to deliver high-quality care tailored to each patient’s unique needs.

Jake is known for his compassionate, patient-centered approach. He believes in building lasting relationships with his patients by listening attentively and taking the time to understand their concerns. Whether you need preventive care, chronic disease management, or treatment for acute conditions, Jake is committed to partnering with you and your family to achieve your best health.
